Factory Girl tells the story of mid-sixties 'it girl' and Warhol superstar Edie Sedgwick, who will be portrayed by Sienna Miller. Guy Pearce plays Andy Warhol, and Hayden Christensen portrays rock star Billy Quinn, a fictional character whobecomes involved with Edie. Christensen was originally cast as Bob Dylan, but the name of the character was changed after some controversy because there is no factual evidence that Dylan was ever actually involved with Edie. After Sedgwick dropped out of art school in Cambridge in 1965, she moved to New York and met Warhol, who promised to make her a star. The movie chronicles her rise to fame and subsequent downfall into drugs anddepression.
